Church of the Holy Trinity in Gervyaty (category 2)

Roman Catholic temple. Built in 1899-1903 in neo-gothic style. The local parish was established in 1526, at the same time a small wooden church was built. In 1899-1903, a majestic stone church was erected on the site of a wooden church by architect Vaclav Mikhnevich. It is one of the three highest temples, the height of the bell tower is 61 meters.

In front of the temple there are several wooden crosses with rich carvings, which is typical for Lithuanian places of worship. Around the temple there is a landscape park with rare ornamental plants and figures of the apostles. The temple is called “little Switzerland” and “Belarusian Notre Dame”. According to numerous polls, it is recognized as one of the most beautiful churches in Belarus.
